New Delhi, December 23:
Vishwa Hindu Raksha Parishad (VHRP) leader Yamuna strongly condemned a recent incident, calling it a “clear violation of women’s dignity and personal space.” She demanded strict action against those responsible and emphasized the need for accountability to ensure women’s safety in public spaces.
Addressing the media, Yamuna stated that such incidents reflect a troubling disregard for basic human respect and warned that societal silence only enables repeat offenses. She stressed that women should be able to move freely without fear, harassment, or humiliation.
The VHRP leader urged authorities to conduct a swift and transparent investigation, adding that strong legal consequences are essential to deter similar acts in the future. She also appealed to communities to speak out and support victims rather than normalize misconduct.
Yamuna further said that protecting women’s dignity must go beyond statements and translate into consistent enforcement, awareness, and cultural change, asserting that respect for women is fundamental to a just society.
