“Ask the British, Soviet Union, U.S. & NATO — Don’t Play Games With Us”: Afghan Minister Muttaqi Warns Pakistan Amid Kabul Blasts

New Delhi, October 10, 2025: Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi issued a stern warning to Pakistan after multiple explosions rattled Kabul and other parts of Afghanistan. Speaking at a press conference in Delhi, he said, “The courage of Afghans should not be tested… If someone wants to do this, ask the British once; ask the American once—playing games with Afghanistan is not good.” The remarks reflect mounting frustration in Kabul over perceived cross-border provocations.

Bututtaqi stressed that Afghanistan is an independent state and will protect its sovereignty: “Even one inch of Afghan land is not captured by anyone,” he said, adding that while Kabul welcomes dialogue, unresolved border incursions would prompt decisive action. The comments come amid heightened tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan, with Pakistan accused of airstrikes in Afghan territory and Kabul asserting that some Pakistani elements are seeking to deteriorate the peace.
