Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Panchkula on December 24 to attend a series of political and public events, officials confirmed on Tuesday. The visit is expected to include meetings with party leaders, interactions with local officials, and participation in public outreach programmes.

Security arrangements have been put in place in Panchkula, with local authorities coordinating with the Union Home Ministry to ensure smooth conduct of the events. Traffic diversions and safety protocols will be implemented around the venues to facilitate Shah’s schedule.
Political analysts noted that the visit underscores the BJP’s focus on consolidating support in key regions ahead of future elections, and is likely to generate significant public and media attention.
Officials added that Amit Shah’s engagement with local representatives aims to strengthen party connect with citizens, while also reviewing ongoing developmental initiatives at the district level.
