Amritsar, November 8, 2025: Punjab Police have arrested two individuals, including a gangster associated with the Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF), in connection with the murder of an Italy-based Non-Resident Indian (NRI) in Amritsar. The NRI was shot dead earlier this week, triggering shock among the local community and his relatives abroad.
Police officials stated that the killing appears to be a targeted attack, and further investigation is underway to identify additional suspects involved in the conspiracy. Authorities have tightened security and are probing the motive, including potential links to extortion and gang rivalry within Punjab’s criminal network.
