Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in Delhi on Monday ahead of the formal assumption of responsibilities by senior party leader Nitin Nabin. The visit comes as part of the party’s internal organisational reshuffle and is expected to mark the beginning of Nabin’s tenure in a key leadership role. Senior BJP officials welcomed both leaders and underscored the importance of strengthening party coordination at the national and state levels.
Sources said that Nitin Nabin, who has previously held several important portfolios within the party, will now be entrusted with responsibilities that include strategic planning, coordination with state units, and overseeing organisational outreach initiatives. Party insiders indicated that PM Modi’s presence at the headquarters signifies the central leadership’s support for Nabin’s appointment and highlights the BJP’s focus on consolidating its grassroots and state-level operations.
