Mumbai, January 10:
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, on Saturday released the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) 2026 exam schedule for multiple professional programmes including MBA, MMS, Engineering, Pharmacy and Agriculture. The announcement provides aspirants with the dates, timings and subject breakdowns for one of the state’s most important entrance examinations, which determines admissions to a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in government and private institutions across Maharashtra. Students preparing for the exam were advised to review the official timetable carefully, complete their registrations, and start final revisions well ahead of the scheduled dates to maximise their performance.

According to officials, the MHT-CET for engineering and pharmacy streams will be conducted over several days in April 2026, while the MBA and MMS CET is slated for March 2026, with precise dates, reporting times and module papers clearly outlined in the released schedule. The Agriculture CET will follow its designated slot as part of the state’s centralised admissions process. The DTE emphasised that candidates should also keep an eye on the official portal for updates related to admit cards, document verification processes and examination centres. Education experts said the early release of the schedule gives students more time to plan their preparation and manage revisions across subjects, boosting confidence ahead of the competitive tests.
