BJP leader ANS Prasad on Wednesday demanded that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin immediately dismiss official Regupathy, following what he described as “unacceptable and controversial actions” by the officer. Prasad alleged that Regupathy’s conduct undermined public trust and raised serious questions about administrative propriety. The BJP leader stressed that swift action from the state government was necessary to maintain accountability and uphold the integrity of governance, warning that failure to act could further erode confidence in public institutions.
Prasad’s statement has intensified political debate in Tamil Nadu, with opposition leaders pressing for transparency and clarity regarding the officer’s actions.
