Hyderabad, December 27:
Telangana IT Minister K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) on Saturday strongly criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over the use of abusive language in public forums, questioning his suitability to lead the state effectively. KTR said such behaviour undermines the dignity of office and sets a poor example for both officials and the public.
Addressing the media, KTR asserted that political leaders must maintain decorum and professionalism, especially while addressing contentious issues. He highlighted that governance requires constructive dialogue, not derogatory remarks, and urged Revanth Reddy to focus on developmental priorities rather than personal attacks.
The IT Minister’s remarks come amid heightened political tensions in Telangana, with rival parties exchanging barbs ahead of upcoming elections. Analysts noted that KTR’s criticism could influence public opinion by emphasising responsible leadership and administrative competence.
