Rajasthan State Finance Minister on Monday stated that the Gehlot-led government had given consent on a key financial issue, clarifying recent debates surrounding the matter. The minister said the approval was part of standard administrative procedures and aligned with government policy.
Speaking to the media, the minister emphasised that the matter had been examined thoroughly before approval, and all procedural norms were followed. He said the decision was aimed at promoting transparency and facilitating smooth implementation of financial initiatives in the state.
Political analysts noted that the statement comes amid discussions over the previous government’s decisions, highlighting the importance of record-keeping and procedural clarity in governance. They said such clarifications help reduce misunderstandings and maintain public trust in state administration.
The minister also added that the current government continues to monitor and review all financial approvals to ensure accountability, efficiency, and alignment with developmental priorities in Rajasthan.
