A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against BJP leader Amit Malviya in West Bengal on Saturday over alleged incendiary remarks, officials said. The FIR comes amid rising political tensions in the state ahead of upcoming elections.
Authorities stated that the complaint alleges Malviya’s statements could incite unrest and disturb public order. Law enforcement has begun an investigation to ascertain the context and implications of the remarks.
