Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Manikrao Kokate was hospitalised on Saturday after being diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome (ACS), officials said. He is currently under medical supervision at a local hospital, receiving treatment for the cardiac condition.
Doctors attending to Kokate stated that he is stable and responding to treatment, but further monitoring is required to ensure full recovery. The hospital has advised rest and precautionary measures during the critical period.
Political colleagues and party members expressed concern and wished him a speedy recovery. Authorities have requested media and the public to respect his privacy during the ongoing treatment.
