Guwahati, December 16: Renowned playback singer Sonu Nigam kicked off his ‘Deewana Tera’ concert tour in Guwahati on Monday, opening the musical journey with a heartfelt tribute to Assamese music icon Zubeen Garg. The singer performed some of Zubeen’s popular songs, earning loud applause from the audience and creating an emotional start to the tour.
Sonu Nigam also delivered a mix of his classic hits and newer tracks, captivating fans with his versatile performance. He praised Assam’s rich musical heritage and expressed gratitude for the warm reception, saying Guwahati was the perfect city to begin the tour that will travel across multiple Indian cities.
