New Delhi, December 10: The Ministry of Education has asked state governments to speed up the distribution of pending scholarships for students belonging to economically weaker sections. The directive aims to ensure that financial constraints do not affect students’ education during the ongoing academic year.
Officials said scholarship disbursement delays can lead to dropouts, especially in higher education. The ministry added that faster processing and transparent digital systems will help ensure timely financial assistance to deserving students across the country.
