Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated that the government aims to either secure the surrender of Naxalite insurgents or eliminate their presence by January 2026. Addressing a press conference, he emphasized that security forces have intensified operations in Naxal-affected areas and are closely monitoring rebel activities to restore peace and normalcy.
The CM highlighted the government’s multi-pronged strategy, which includes strengthening local law enforcement, enhancing development initiatives in tribal areas, and offering rehabilitation packages for surrendered insurgents. He assured that the state is committed to ending Naxalite violence while ensuring the safety of civilians in affected regions.
