Kathmandu, November 20, 2025:
Gen-Z–led protests have returned to Nepal as young citizens once again take to the streets demanding political accountability and economic reforms. The renewed agitation gained momentum over the past few days, with students and youth groups coordinating large-scale demonstrations across several regions.
Authorities have imposed a curfew in Bara district after tensions escalated and clashes were reported in certain pockets. Security forces have been deployed to prevent further unrest, while the government has urged protesters to maintain peace. Meanwhile, youth leaders insist their movement will continue until meaningful reforms are initiated.
