Schools across several states are set to remain closed for 12 days in November and December, as per the updated academic holiday schedule released by education departments. These holidays include national festivals, state-specific events, and winter breaks, providing students and teachers an extended period of rest.
The announcement has brought relief to parents and students preparing for year-end exams, allowing them additional time for travel and revision. Authorities have advised schools to adjust their academic calendars accordingly to ensure learning hours are not affected once classes resume.
