New Delhi, November 2025: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched a new and improved Aadhaar mobile app, designed to offer users a faster, more secure, and user-friendly experience. The updated app allows citizens to easily access key Aadhaar services, including downloading digital Aadhaar, updating personal details, and checking authentication history — all from their smartphones.
Users can download the new app by visiting the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and searching for “mAadhaar.” The app features enhanced security with biometric locking, offline verification tools, and multilingual support for wider accessibility. UIDAI officials stated that the upgrade aims to make digital identity management simpler and safer, aligning with India’s ongoing push toward digital governance and citizen convenience.
