Patna, November 2025: Bihar Director General of Police (DGP) has announced enhanced security measures ahead of the second phase of Assembly elections, emphasizing that preparations will be more stringent than the first round. The decision comes in light of ensuring peaceful polling across sensitive and high-risk constituencies.
The DGP stated that additional forces will be deployed, and strict surveillance will be maintained through drones, CCTV monitoring, and mobile patrols. Coordination between district administrations and paramilitary units has been strengthened to prevent any untoward incidents and maintain the integrity of the electoral process.
