New Delhi, November 2025: Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President PT Usha has confirmed that the announcement of the host nation for the 2030 Commonwealth Games will be made very soon. Speaking to reporters, Usha stated that discussions with the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) are in their final stages and that a formal declaration could arrive within the next few weeks.
While Usha did not reveal specific details about the potential host, she expressed optimism about India’s growing influence in global sporting affairs. The IOA chief highlighted India’s strong sporting infrastructure and successful track record in hosting major events as factors that bolster its standing in international circles. The 2030 Commonwealth Games announcement is expected to generate excitement across the sports community and pave the way for future collaborations.
