Thiruvananthapuram, December 1, 2025 — The 14th edition of the India-Maldives bilateral military exercise, EKUVERIN, is scheduled to take place in Kerala, aiming to strengthen defence cooperation and interoperability between the two nations. The exercise will focus on joint training, counter-terrorism operations, and enhancing maritime security capabilities.
Officials highlighted that the annual exercise serves as a platform to deepen mutual understanding and foster trust between the armed forces. Both sides will engage in tactical drills, operational planning, and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance regional security and readiness.
